Credit Builders Alliance Grants LLFS $40,000 for Operations and Funding the Credit Builder Loans

Leech Lake Financial Service’s programs would not be as successful as they are without the support and funds we receive from nonprofits like the Credit Builders Alliance (CBA).

CBA was created by and for our nonprofit members as a bridge to the modern credit reporting system to help millions of individuals with poor or no credit participate in the mainstream financial system by building credit. Its mission is to help organizations move people from poverty to prosperity through credit building.

CBA recently granted Leech Lake Financial Services $40,000 for our Credit Builder Loan fund and operations. Our Credit Builder Loan Program (CBLP) is designed to build a positive credit history for the borrower. Many of our CBLP borrowers struggle with access to affordable credit, so it is our objective to provide safe loans while boosting the borrowers’ credit scores.

We are honored and grateful that CBA supports our mission to empower our community through providing safe and affordable financial products and financial training. Chi-miigwech!
