First Cohort Begins: CanGrow Technical Assistance Program
Leech Lake Financial Services is excited to announce the launch of the first cohort of the CanGrow Technical Assistance Program.
Interest in the program was strong, with 31 individuals applying for the opportunity to participate. Following the application process, 10 trainees were selected to join the inaugural 18-week training program.
Participants will receive training in cannabis cultivation, business planning, financial management, licensing requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Throughout the course, trainees will work toward building the foundation necessary to become successful cannabis growers and entrepreneurs.
“We are excited to see the enthusiasm and commitment from participants as they begin this journey,” said Sharon James, CanGrow Program Director. “This training is about creating opportunities, building knowledge, and supporting individuals as they explore a new and evolving industry.”
Leech Lake Financial Services will continue sharing updates and celebrating the progress of the cohort throughout the program.
This activity is made possible in part by a grant from the State of Minnesota through the CanGrow program, administered by the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management, with funds appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature.
