Area Foundation For The Generous 2019 Operations Grant Award

Leech Lake Financial Services would like to thank the Northwest Area Foundation for the generous 2019 Operations Grant award. This grant has helped us to keep our doors open, provide area financial skills training, and continues to offer these programs to the Cass Lake community. Chi-Miigwech.

The Northwest Area Foundation was established in 1934 and is a private foundation. They support resourceful problem solvers working in resilient communities that have a wealth of wisdom, passion, and expertise – Native Americans, communities of color, immigrants and refugees, and people in rural areas.

They work in diverse communities to help people build assets through good jobs and financial capability. They serve Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and the 76 Native nations within these states.
