Leech Lake Financial Services Awarded Native CDFI Grant
Leech Lake Financial Services (LLFS) was selected by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s CDFI Fund for a FY 2016 Native American CDFI Assistance (NACA) Program grant award — the only organization in Minnesota to receive the funding. The award recognized LLFS’s innovative lending programs and ongoing work to expand financial opportunity, credit-building, and economic development within the Leech Lake community.
